Ace of Spades (ch 4-7)

What does Ed give the Tatupu's? I mean besides the lights... what has he given this family? How do you think Ed feels as he walks home after seeing the lights? How would you feel? Explain in 5-7 sentences.

Ed gave the Tatupu's a feeling of wholesomeness and the feeling of being welcome. I think Ed feels good as he walks home. He feels like he's starting to do good in the world. I think I would feel the same. I would feel that sense of warmth. That sense of being a better person. I think Ed knows he's doing good, and he plans to keep doing good.

I think that Ed made the family feel like they are welcome in that neighborhood & someone actually cares to help them. I think that he feels like he accomplished something like he really impacted this message. I would feel fantastic! I think that the whole thing that Ed is doing is good. I would feel like a good person if I ever did anything like that.

He has given the family a better light on people. He's showed them that you can also depend on other people besides family. Even if it's only a guy named Ed. I think Ed feels really good. I think he also feels bad for lying about living there. He probably won't be back thought unfortunately

Ed has given that family hope, he has given them light and happiness. Right along with faith. I think Ed feels grateful, and happy he's helped someone so much. He likes to make people happy. I would feel proud if I were to help that family. To feel accepted and wanted in that family that's just so happy. I'm almost positive that Ed felt proud, but guilty that he had to lie.

Ed has given this family happiness and lights of coarse. I think they showed Ed what a family is like. He is starting to do good in the world and we readers can see it, even if his friends don't. Ed knows he's doing the right things or he wouldn't be doing what he's doing.

i definitely think that he felt guilty for lying that he lived there, but i also believe he is grateful to have gotten the first card. He has made a huge change in this family's life but also other people to. When he walks home alone and sees the lights up i feel that he is grateful, happy and knows he is doing something right. He has given the family a friendship, faith, and encouragement. Also he gave them the lights. He showed them that there are other people you can talk to and hang out with other than family. If i was Ed i would have felt guilty for lying, but at the same time the goodness would over power the bad. I would be so happy and thankful that i had been forced to start this job.

Ed gave them the feeling of being welcome. I think he feels that he can do good in this world even in the tightest situation. I think I would feel the same. I would feel that I didn't something right for someone. That I could be a better person.
