Ace of Diamonds (Ch1 & 2)

Why or why not? Make a prediction about the addresses and times on the first card that Ed gets? What do you think it means? Why? If you were Ed, what would you do with this card? Why? Explain your answer in at least 7 sentences!

when i first started reading the book it grabbed my attention almost right away. It is a very good book, and i can't wait to read the rest. It's also funny.
Yeah Ed may need to get another job, maybe a better one. A job that at least pays more. But a job is a job, money is money.
some of the things they say don't make since really but it's funny.
dude it was weird. Pretty darn slow but, it was good too.
I like this book. It has some funny stuff in it. Ed is the character that cares about his friends and family even though he didn't have the best time growing up. I don't know what character I would be, but there may be a character later on that I can relate to.I think the addresses may be setups for Ed to get hurt or it could be for him to find some of the things he was looking for. If I got a card in the mail from some random person I think I would feel a little stocked or feel like someone is watching me because you know its a little weird getting a random message from a random person.
I like the book so far, it's not too bad. I think he spends too much time explaining things and doesn't get to the point. I do think its humorous at the most. So far the story seems to be kind of boring but I am interested in reading more. Ed... He seems like a regular guy who doesn't feel like there is really anything left out there for him because he is the last of his siblings to be in his town. He lives in a shack and lives his own life. It seems that he doesn't really care what other people think of him. I don't think I can identify him or any of the other characters, probably because I haven't read this book before or I just really don't know what they are talking about. I think the addresses put him in a situation where he has to help him with people. Or maybe it involves him with something dangerous and will affect his future. If I were to get a card, I'm not really sure what I would do with it, most likely put it in my room somewhere and forget about it. Or maybe that they sent it to the wrong person, there had to have been a mistake. Well, that is my blog! Guess I better read some more and find out!
Well I believe that I don't personally connect to Ed, I think i might start getting into this book, but for now I'm unsure.
the book so far is really good. it pulled me in from the first page. i like how it is so intense and real. when he yelled at the guns man i think that it was a rough thing to say to someone. i like the book though
I like the book, I think that it has a very interesting beginning, it captures your attention. But when you get to the second chapter it starts dragging, I think that all the details that the author gives you foreshadows the ending... At least I hope so. I think that Ed isn't like the other characters in the book & I think that its a good thing because books aren't that interesting when all the characters are all the same. I think that later on in the book the robber tries to make contact with Ed & that's what all the cards mean.
he story so far is really good im excited to read the rest of the book.Ed is like most guys he has opionons for every little thing. He should do something else wiht himself though,a cabdriver is just boring.Hes really funny,I hope that the book is as interesting as the begining. The card that he got I really want to know what thats all about so im going to keep reading(:
i liked this chapter was ok. i didnt really get into it and no i cant relate to any of eds problems.
i just started reading the book. Its pretty coo so far. I'm getting into it, i like how truthful he is hes blunt and don't care at all. ED and i are like the same because I'm blunt with people. i don't care what people think about e and neither does he. i just hope Ed keeps the card and goes to the places on it and see what it means. i would save them and go to the places.
I can't relate to any of his problems. But the starting was good. I liked it, the book seems really interesting.
so for i think this book is ok. im diggin that it starts durring a bank robery. plus ed and his buddy at the bank have a pretty good scence of humor. and he drives a pos car witch is funny. i think he should keep the car to. im the same way i have a thing for junker cars, but they get the job done so its ok. so if this book keeps goin the way it has so far i might enjoy it.
Well it's kinda difficult trying to write without giving spoilers having already read the book. It's a pain to recall exactly where everything in the book happens. I'll try my best to avoid post anything connecting further in the book. But for a start, it's a very enjoyable book. I do recommend that people do read it all the way through. Now, in my opinion, Ed, from the beginning, is a rather unfortunate character. I mean look where the book starts! He seem to have a mostly average life, but who knows where the book may take him!
Right now I'm not real interested in this book, It hasn't really fully interested me into it but it also hasn't bore me out to were i Don't want to read it anymore. I also don't think i really identfied with Ed yet. Not enough feelings and facts to identify him. I think the more I read it the more I will get interested. And the more I will connect with it. With the card I'm not real sure what i would do with the address'. I think i would be dumb enough to actually go to the address just to see what happens. I would get to curious and just go find out haha.
I am really interested in this book. It pulled me in on the first page. It was really funny and catching. I like how Ed is so honest and blunt. I think it will get better the more I read. If I were Ed, I would definitely keep the card without question. I wouldn't want to throw it away and then keep myself wondering what it was for. I would probably take a friend with me and go to the addresses on the card so I could figure out what the heck it's for. Also his 'job' as a taxi driver is good, but he could probably do better. Take a chance and try something new. Money is cash so if that is all he can do, then by all means do it! I would make this into an adventure and have fun along the way. This book is great, i can't wait to read further.
Well Ed is in a bank while it's being robbed and his friend is talking smack on the robber. Its pretty detailed and it makes me want more chapter after chapter. This book is good and very interesting so far. I think that the card Ed gets is going to get him into a lot of trouble, or get him caught up in something. If i were Ed i would be going to the addresses on the card.
